From what I’ve seen so far, this pose reader actually works pretty well -
Create two locators, then group them together. One of them will be our pose driver, while the other will be a target, so name them accordingly.

I’ve decided to ink the Mary & Mercy pic in Expression, feeling it should take about half as long as it would in Photoshop. Here’s a quick overview of how Expression’s vectors work -
A simple bezier curve, nothing special.
Stroke applied, still nothing special.
Thickness adjusted… now we’re getting somewhere!
